This edition of your Weekly Winning Resource is extra special because it follows our 7th Annual 2021 Motivational & Leadership Conference Kick-off that happened virtually yesterday! If you were in attendance, you can attest at what an amazing day it was and certainly we were all challenged to expand our mindset and to keep pushing beyond our comfort zones. Our weekly winning word this week is, expand! Imagine sitting on a board of directors with a college that once wouldn’t allow you to even enroll with them. That’s what happened to Jamie Harwood, and who would have ever imagined that he would go from being 46th out of 48 students in high school to being the Peoria County Coroner! Fr. Dominic challenged us to expand our hearts and taught us how to help people carry their burdens. All day we encouraged you to hear from God and write down what He was speaking to you, no matter how big or small! Remember, Abraham and Sarah? They laughed when God told them they would have a son in their old age. Kim laughed at God when He told her that I’ve Decided would be bigger than Amazon! What has God whispered to you that made you laugh? Like the quote above says, “Growth and change are painful, but nothing is as painful as staying stuck where you know you don’t belong.” Our mission at I’ve Decided is to help you achieve your goals and dreams whatever they may be. We want to encourage you not to laugh at the massive ideas God whispers in your heart, but to take them seriously. Expand your mind to trust that no matter what your purpose is, you can accomplish it!
