Meetings, presentations, formal proposals, networking events, and even casual hallway or water-cooler conversations are all important professional speaking opportunities. Regardless of the venue, the ability to present your ideas and communicate meaningful messages with poise and presence can make a difference between being dull and forgettable or compelling and influential. This program will provide practical tips to present yourself and your ideas with conviction, clarity, and confidence. Specifically, you will:

  • Review and practice methods for developing, organizing, and designing a clear and meaningful message
  • Learn and practice techniques to enhance delivery skills, engage the audience, and maintain poise
  • Experience hands-on practice and feedback (video playback/ audience input) of message design and delivery


This program includes four sessions, 5:30 - 7:30pm, Monday's October 12th & 26th, November 9th & 16th, with time in between sessions for message development, presentation practice, and revision – please see the complete schedule below.

Monday October 12th

Monday October 26th

Monday November 9th

  • Individual presentations, followed by video
    playback and audience critique
  • Self-reflection and plan for revisions

Monday November 16th

  • Individual presentations, followed by video
    playback and audience critique
  • Final reflection and program evaluation

She is certified in leadership development, is a past recipient of the 25 Women in Leadership award, and is a member of the East Peoria Chamber of Commerce, McLean County Chamber of Commerce, I’ve Decided, the Association for Talent Development Heart of Central Illinois Chapter, and the Central Illinois Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners.
