First things first! We want to be diligent today in wishing all of our amazing Moms out there a happy Mothers Day! We hope you are having an amazing day so far.
This week, your Weekly Winning Resource is all about the word diligent. As we consider what it looks like to be diligent, a great reminder can be found in Proverbs 21:5. It tells us, “The plans of the diligent lead to profit as surely as haste leads to poverty.” Would you take advice from the richest and wealthiest person that has ever walked the face of the earth? This Proverb was written by King Solomon, and not only was he the wealthiest person in the world, but God said, “There will never be anyone who will exceed his wealth.” Here’s another Proverb with some great advice. Proverb 13:14 says, “The soul of the sluggard craves and gets nothing, while the soul of the diligent is richly supplied.” What do these proverbs mean exactly? In simple terms it means, we must be patient, but we must be constant in our effort. Successfully accomplishing your goals and dreams will take time and a whole lot of hard work!
