Too often we start a task only to not stay committed or go through the motions with limited results.  This session will incorporate motivation and the importance of understanding our motivation styles, and what is behind our motivations.  While there are several types of motivational theories, we will look at how they all work in a combination through the journey of personal stories. Understanding these combinations will help you reach your personal or professional goals and help you identify and develop ways to see high potential results in your life!

About the Speaker:  Becky Wood joined the Management and Leadership Department at Bradley University in 2015.  She received her MBA degree in Business from Bradley University and attended Bethel College in Mishawaka, Indiana where she studied Business.  As a proud graduate of Bradley University, Becky is passionate about continuing Bradley’s commitment to excellence in teaching our future leaders. Wood also serves as a Trainer/Speaker and Executive Coach through Bradley’s Center of Professional Excellence.

Becky started her career as business administrator for two local churches before joining a regional communication company as an Account Manager.  She transitioned to local radio group in a senior sales role prior to starting her regional advertising agency, The Service Station, where she served over 36 clients in five states. Becky started the ad agency in the 90’s, and worked with a broad spectrum of clients including National Automotive Dealer Association (NADA) 20 Groups, regional organizations, and local business owners.

Wood Specializes in Leadership Development, Strategy, Emotional Intelligence, Team Effectiveness and Personal Productivity. Becky is a native to Peoria, Illinois.  She currently serves on two boards, The Salvation Army Advisory Board and Alignment Peoria Governing Board of Directors.

She has two daughters, one grandchild, and her beloved labradoodle, Jean Luc.
