About the Speaker: Kim Martin is the Founder of I’ve Decided, and the creator of the “DECIDE” method. She designed this 6 step plan to help people successfully complete their goals and dreams. Kim has over 20 years of coaching experience, and is certified in behavior management. She has been a business owner of Curves since January 18th, 1999. What she loves most about her career is having the opportunity to witness the amazing and lifesaving transformation of her members who are achieving their fitness and weight goals.
Kim has over 25 years of experience in her field and is certified in Nutrition, Exercise Kinesiology, and Behavior Management. She loves to teach, motivate, and inspire people to be better, and has been speaking to audiences for more than 15 years.
In September 2014 Kim “decided” to use the experience she has of operating her own franchise business, marketing skills, and ability to motivate others and began a startup business, I’ve Decided. This unique organization is designed to inspire and motivate the people in our community to make a positive lifestyle choice or fulfill a dream. This community-wide effort of personal improvement will impact positive change throughout our city.
Kim is very involved in the community and nonprofit organizations such as St Jude, Susan G Komen, Peoria Public School Foundation, and PUP (People with Unlimited Potential. She is a member of Women in Leadership, and the Peoria Chamber of Commerce.
She has been awarded Franchisee of the Year and Multiple Franchisee of the Year by Curves International and her Curves in Peoria is considered to be one of the top 20 clubs in our nation.
What she is most proud of is her family. Kim is married to Joe Martin, and together, as a blended family, they have 7 awesome children. We love our crazy life!
