You Won’t Wander Your Way to Awesome – Leann Stickel

You Won’t Wander Your Way to Awesome

Leann speaks on how the diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis at the age of 29 helped her find clarity, motivation and purpose.

About the Speaker: Leann is a mom of 4, wife of 21 years and a life coach living with Multiple Sclerosis. She went to college to be a Sign Language Interpreter and enjoyed that career for a few years.  With the onset of numbness on her left side, she retired from that profession at the young age of 24.  After the diagnosis of MS at 29 she turned her focus to the chronic illness community.  In 2015 she founded Tri 2 Beat MS Kids’ Triathlon.  This non-profit event has been raising money for MS patients as well as inspiring kids to love fitness.  Leann is an active member of the Central IL MS Council, an organization whose mission is to improve the lives of MS patients in central Illinois.  She loves to coach women 1-1 as well as in a small group setting and recently launched her new podcast, Chronically Happy.  In her free time she loves to spend time with her husband & kiddos camping, swimming, boating and the like.  Also, she says she is obsessed with any sports her kids are participating in!  You can also find her working on her small business which is a passion project.
