2023 I've Decided Fall Retreat "Taking Care of Me!" Thursday, October 5th 9-3pm at Wildlife Prairie Park 3826 N Taylor Rd, Hannah City, IL. 61536 Our I've Decided Fall Retreat is a dedicated space for reflection, growth, and rejuvenation. Reconnect with yourself and cultivate practices that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being. If you are going to achieve the goals and dreams you desire, and live a life fulfilled, you must make taking care of yourself the number one priority. This retreat is designed to help you take a step away from your everyday life to refresh and renew so you can finish 2023 strong. You will have some quiet time in a peaceful environment reflecting on your thoughts and journaling to help you unwind. You will spend some time creating a self-care vision board, taking a guided trail walk, and participating in a sound healing session. Indulge in a day of complete detox from technology and other distractions that keep you from being in the moment. You can expect to connect with like-minded individuals in group activities, and a communal lunch to foster a deeper sense of community and belonging. Reflecting and Journaling Time - This will be a guided session led by our Founder and Coach, Kim Martin. Kim will pose questions to help you tap into a deeper level of self-discovery. It will be time to set some personal boundaries, and think about your self-care routine. Engaging in self-care activities often involves introspection and self-reflection. This helps you become more aware of your needs, desires, strengths, and limitations. Such self-awareness is crucial for personal growth and making informed decisions about your life. Self-Care Vision Board Session - Facilitated by Jeannie Quick, A founding member and Coach for I've Decided. Jeannie is the Founder of Dream Outside the Lines, and a vision coach. Her question for you is, "Are you taking care of you?" You're most likely juggling a lot! Between your work, your relationships, your habits, and your home, how are you keeping yourself from becoming just another thing on your to-do-list? You may think that when it comes to making yourself a priority that starting small doesn't make a difference, but Jeannie says, "If you don't start small, you often won't start at all!" In this session, Jeannie will guide you through creating a self-care vision board so you can leave with some practical ways to continue on your journey of taking care of yourself first! Sound Bath Session - Sound healing is an ancient meditative practice that uses sacred instruments to create healing, vibrations around the body by inducing a state of ease and harmony, releasing energetic blockages, and restoring the normal vibrational frequencies of the cells in our bodies. Water, which makes up 75% of the adult body, is a great conductor for sound vibration! When vibrations travel through the body, they promote energy flow, rejuvenation, circulation, help lower blood pressure and cholesterol, can improve sleep, help treat anxiety, depression, and PTSD. This Session will be led by Dr. Nicole Lackner DC, the owner of Inner Spirit Chiropractic & The Holistic Health Center of Peoria. Dr. Nicole has been in practice since 2001 and loves caring for families, moms, special needs children and adults. She also helps patients with vitamin and herb supplements, and essential oil. She has great success helping people with digestive issues. Dr. Nicole believes in offering hope and a better quality of life. We give 10% of our proceeds to:
